Save the Children
is reaching is the largest international organization providing relief and vital services to children and families in Darfur.  Backed by over 20 years of experience in Sudan, they provide an essential lifeline to those in need.  In West Darfur Save the Children are reaching 500,000 people every month with life-saving humanitarian aid. They are distributing food; running health and emergency maternity clinics; building 19 schools and refurbishing 19 more; drilling wells and providing communities with equipment to pump water. www.savethechildren.org


Butetown History & Arts Centre
an innovative scheme based in the heart of Cardiff Bay. Founded in 1987, their work involves local people in collaboration with professional researchers, artists and media workers. People's histories, together with cultural democracy, are the backbone of the work. BHAC collects, preserves, copies and utilises oral histories, old photographs and other documents; organises community education courses and works with schools and community groups. www.bhac.org
